Comment and question: Years ago I was in an MVA (motor vehicle accident) and came up and out of body while in the ER. I saw my human body, but did not recognize it as being "mine." Only later when I was back in my human body, looking up at the ceiling/wall, did I realize that that had been "me" (my soul / energy / source / whatever term you wish to use) looking down on my human body. Why did my soul not recognize my human body, but my human body recognized where my soul had been? Is it because my human body is an illusion and the soul didn't recognize my human body as being real?
Thank you so very much for sharing your conversations and insights contained in this Web site. Quite thought provoking. --Eva

T. Michael responds,
An intriguing question arises as to which consciousness are "you" in a state of being separated and one of being united? From your description you experienced two distinct awarenesses. One interpretation may be that your spirit was your point of reference (consciousness) when separated from your body and remained so as it reunited, but also included the conscious awareness of being in the body and of the body at that moment. We all experience that duality, don't we? And then at times we experience the unity.
You pose a wonderful question that I'll present in a future conversation, which is, what is our relationship between human form and our spirit?

Introducing Zoe

  • Zoe contacted me after she visited this site, which was after she began having conversations with Master Buddha. She was curious if anyone else was having this experience, did some searching, and violå, she found these conversations. Following an exchange of emails and a phone conversation, we decided to post Zoe's conversations here. I welcome the opportunity to share these with you as I have my own conversations.
